A north-end neighbourhood that feels calmer than its commute suggests: fifteen minutes to downtown on the orange line, and the river at the end of the street.

Getting around

Métro Sauvé and Henri-Bourassa on the orange line put downtown about fifteen minutes away; the 121 and 164 buses cross the borough, and the Chabanel train station serves the Saint-Jérôme line.

Daily life

Groceries, pharmacies and hardware stores line Fleury and Lajeunesse. Promenade Fleury is the local main street: bakeries, cafés and small restaurants rather than chains.

Parks & outdoors

Parc de l'Île-de-la-Visitation and the Rivière des Prairies waterfront are the neighbourhood's backyard: bike paths, cross-country ski trails in winter and herons in summer.
