LaSalle: Montréal with the river next door.

A southwest borough built for everyday life: waterfront cycling in the morning, groceries on the way home and space to breathe.

Quiet residential street in LaSalle

Getting around

Angrignon métro anchors the green line at the borough's edge with a major bus terminus; highways 20 and 138 are minutes away, and the Lachine rapids bike path runs the whole waterfront.

Daily life

Big-format shopping on Newman Boulevard, local strips on Édouard and Centrale, and the Carrefour Angrignon mall for everything else. Errands are easy here.

Parks & outdoors

The Saint-Lawrence riverfront, the Aqueduct canal paths and Parc Angrignon's woods mean you're never more than a few minutes from green space or water.

The feel of it

Unpretentious and family-oriented, with a mix of plexes, post-war homes and newer buildings. People stay in LaSalle; it's that kind of place.
